About us

Failand & Portbury Cricket Club, formed in 1894, is a sociable cricket club, located just outside of Bristol. We have the pleasure of playing at one of the most picturesque grounds in North Somerset. Further information about our club history can be found on the below links.

We currently field 1st and 2nd XI teams, who play in the Bristol & District Cricket League on Saturday afternoons, a friendly Sunday XI and a popular Midweek XI who play on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.

We play our home games at the Horse Race Lane ground in Lower Failand which is set in peaceful surroundings with views across the Severn Estuary and it provides a quaint setting for village cricket. Our pavilion has a licenced bar which proves popular with our players, members, friends and family alike.

The club is run by a committee elected by our members and details of our committee and key personnel can be found along with our club constitution below.
