FANTASY CRICKET
Members have asked that we run a Fantasy Cricket Competition for the 2016 season
The cost will be £10 in total to cover the whole season for each person participating in the competition.
Prize money to be as follows:
50% of total amount collected will go to club funds.
Prize money for Manager of the 4 week period
(If more than one manager total the same points, the winner to be decided by the higher points scorer the following week)
2/3 of the remaining money will go to the season’s top points scoring manager.
1/3 of the remaining money will go to the season’s runner up points scoring manager.
Please remember this is only a bit of fun and not to be taken too seriously
The competition will cover all weekend matches
Each person participating will have a total of £55 to spend on five batsmen plus four bowlers, one all-rounder and a wicket-keeper shown in their respective category. I hope a wide selection of players will be chosen and not see people picking the same players.
A word of advice – A few players will play possibly TWO games at the weekend
Each player will have a value placed against his name. This will relate not only to expected performance, but also anticipated appearances.
Remember the value casts no reflection solely on the player’s ability. The value takes into account other variables during the season.
You may replace up to two players (in writing) at £2 each until the end of June and you will only receive the points gained when the payment has been passed on to the treasurer
There is no batting points deduction if a player in the bowling category is dismissed
for under 10 runs
